I just discovered a love for shoes. I dont know if it came with officially being in my late 20's (turning 28 and all) . The last time I spend more than $40 on a pair of shoes were Dr.Martins in high school, so me and my 2 best friends Nat and Mel could match. We rocked them! I was browsing craft DIY blogs ( another recent obsession) and came accross This ...and as Forrest Gump would say, "Thats all I have to say about that!"
I showed Malachi and anybody who would look. That was in January and knowing Valentines day (something we have never celebrated) was coming up, I hinted that would be a nice present. I think I made up an occasion, just so he would let me buy them. He looked at me like I had a 3rd eye. "$250, for a pair of shoes, are you nuts?!", I might have said yes to see if it would persuade him.
So my birthday was in April, and my mum, who lives in Australia, pretty much let me pick my present, ...it was a no brainer! I justified it by getting them on Ebay for $167. SOOO I felt a little better. Anyways,The last 5 years I have been living off $10 shoes from target, and they did their job, Plus I see this as an investment! now for all the outfits to match my fancy boots.
They are bench crafted (!!!) in the USA, so I am totally doing my bit for the economy ;)
Look at all that fancy!!
They were MADE for me :)
